Personal:

I've been running since high school (mid-1990s) and do pretty well when I'm focused on a goal. My main problem  is running consistently when I'm NOT training for something specific. I'm an attorney, and I've been married to my husband, also a runner, for 5 1/2 years. We live in Phoenix, Arizona.  We had a beautiful baby girl, Caroline, in August 2009.

I'm back after a LONG break.  Most of you probably don't remember me.  I stopped running because I was pregnant.  Believe me, I tried, but every time I ran, my back would hurt horribly.  So I walked some during my pregnancy.  I had our sweet daughter on August 24.  Getting back into a consistent running routine with a full-time job and a baby is going to be quite challenging, but...one day at a time.

I ran 2 miles this morning without stopping, which I think is pretty good after not running at all for 9 months.  I have no idea what my time was and don't want to know for a while.  Congrats to everyone who ran St. George.
