Personal:

I've been running since high school (mid-1990s) and do pretty well when I'm focused on a goal. My main problem  is running consistently when I'm NOT training for something specific. I'm an attorney, and I've been married to my husband, also a runner, for 5 1/2 years. We live in Phoenix, Arizona.  We had a beautiful baby girl, Caroline, in August 2009.

I was planning a longer, easy run, but it didn't happen that way.  I did 2 miles and felt sick to my stomach, so I stopped and walked for a bit.  Then I felt better and the sickness went away.  I knew I wasn't going to get my desired mileage for the night, so I decided to pump up the pace for a bit.  Then I ran/walked home.

My motivation is nonexistent.  I need a good kick in the butt!

Hey! Are you feeling okay after your fall? Everything still intact and all?

Hmmm. Nausea and tiredness...anything that could be causing these symptoms? If not, RUN RUN RUN! You are the only other chica from the valley on the blog! I am counting on you to bring up the average mileage run by Valley of the Sun women!

PS Did you do your race this weekend?

Lybi,

Yes, I'm OK after the fall, although my knee is still a little sore. Thanks for asking.

I am not pregnant-you are too funny! I think the master bath remodel is taking a toll on my stress level, not to mention taking too much time, but that is not an excuse for not running. Thanks for keeping me accountable!
