Finally did a speed workout!!! 3 sets of 3×300 at goal mile pace for the indoor season with 45sec active rest between each 300 and 4min active rest between each set. My goal was to hit 60-62sec for each 300, my splits were 59 62 62 61 61 63 61 62 60. The workout was really good, my legs felt strong and like they might've had more to give, but it was really hard to breath on account of how cold it was outside. But overall I felt like it was a really solid workout and I feel ready for BYU on Saturday! Afterwards did some weights and I just finished a nice session of yoga which was fantastic. |
