Michael, thanks for the note on my blog. I ran a lot of races this past couple of months in preparation for my marathon last Sunday. Fortunately I was able to stay healthy through all of this, which is such a key to keeping a runner happy.

Looking at your running goals and all that you are doing I would say to keep it up. Our Monday evening running coach, Donnie, says that "showing up" is 100% of what it takes to be a runner. Once you show up for your runs then you are on your way. If you don't show up you don't get any benefit of running. Lots of my runs are with my running friends and that sure makes it easier. At my age I also try to generally take a day off between my runs. I know Sasha likes to have blog runners go 6 days a week, but at my age I'm trying to focus as much on recovery days as the effort running days. Whatever you do, enjoy, Paul

Michael, goofed up 5k in Sandy. Last time we will run the race. I sent them an email about several issues with the race to hopefully urge them to make it a better race in the future.
