Ran around 6 miles (57 minutes) at Cottonwood Park at my sons practice on grass with my golden retreiver - Denali. Felt pretty good as far as hip and achilles which pleased me - although I know I have to be careful

Michael, thanks for your comments about the marathon. It seems that your getting much better. This is a good time of year, the next few months, to slowly build your base miles. I have heard only increae your miles 10% a week at the most. I am going to try and increase my base to 70 miles a week next year (without getting injured). Hope to see you at St. George next year.

I'm glad to hear that you missed a big accident because James and Alex cooled down together. It is good that some of the other boys join James for the cool down. I think it really builds the social and team aspect of running.

Hey Michael- thanks for the comment on my SGM race report. I was looking over your race reports and you had a busy Aug & Sept. with lots of GREAT races- bet your son is proud!
