I saw your comment on Ruthio's blog about BYU Cross Country Camp. I was on staff there for 3 years and enjoyed it very much. Coach Shane (BYU womens coach)puts it on, but is for both boys and girls. Kids come from all over the country and they have a very good time. The staff are all awesome coaches and college runners, and the activities and clinics are very well done. I wish that I would have went when I was a kid. I don't remember the ages, but it is mostly 14-19 years old(High School age). I would recommend it to your son in the next year or so. You sign up for it through BYU Sports Camps, and it is usually the end of July to first of August.

Well, I would totally recommend sending your son to BYU XC camp - it was awesome! Not only did we get to run and learn about running, but we got to spend an entire week with people who are really fast and enjoy running - which doesn't happen very often!

I think that 12 yr olds and up can go - there were a couple of girls there that couldn't have been older than that. Also, girls and boys go to the same camp and run together all the time - it's just split up by speed. About 150 kids were there and I loved it lots!
