Dimple Dell

Need to go to a new place as this has too much horse use - so you have to put up with horse manure and scared horses when a runner of my amazing speed zips by. I think I can do the other side of Dimple Dell as a run although it would be further distance

I think I've discovered a universal law of nature...at least with the ducks on the lake I run around. If I run slower than 10 mph, they will watch me from the lake and snigger. If I run faster than 10 mph they will inevitably fly away.

Wonder what speed you have to run to make a horse bolt? Not that fast, I'd wager. I had a horse growing up, and that darn creature would spook at a large rock just sitting there . . . ominously.

Did I say 10 mph? I meant 10:00 pace. What's the difference, really? (10mph is 6:00 pace--which I can do for approximately 10 feet before coming down with strep throat.)

Horses seem to spook easy if surprized regardless of runners speed, especially when going around a blind corner and you and they arent expecting eachother
