Challenging to run with the heat, even in evening and morning now its warm.
Running on sandy trails is that good or bad, seems good in ways as its more work but also more hazardous for possible injury?

I think for you the advantages will probably outweigh the disadvantages. Most people get injured less on softer surfaces. The plus is less pounding, the minus is you can twist your ankle a funny way and pull something. You would have to go by how it feels after trying it a few times.
