Boss gone - ran 1 hour 45 minutes up State Street to Memorial Grove then up City Creek, not sure how far but Im going to say 11 miles which is very long run for me, if not it should be close to that I would think. Nice fall day, nice autumn colors and was good to run hearing the creek, chickadees (so I guess I got "chicked" as they were allover), scrub jays, robins. I took it easy with my hip and achilles - Im learning - I know if I will push Ill feel it too much. My heart wanted to keep going to the end, but I knew I shouldnt do more. Im learning running is also a science not just a casual hobby if you want to take it serious. Iced down after running - seems to help too

Thanks

That is probably more than I should do, but Im trying to be careful and not running fast. I seem to be more in tune with my body and going the speed I need to do so I can prevent injury. Actually I did that mileage again today. Dont tell my physical therapist and tomorrow will be a rest day
