I felt like I got stuck at an 85% effort again. I actually feel like one of my strengths is being able to conserve energy and stay relaxed early in a race but sometimes it's harder for me to switch gears and that was the case. I feel like It's hard for me to get in a "flow" type of mental game during a race but I was thankful for another race opportunity to practice and learn more. I was a little bummed because I think I ran the same pace today as I did through 2 miles at the 5k on the track in October-Ish. I was thankful they put together the meet though because I need to keep racing to learn how to be better.
