Short-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up, and just become a consistant runner again.

Run to run and be my best. Just enjoy it, and stop comparing myself to others running abilities, because it definitely discourages me!

Long-Term Running Goals:

To enjoy a very long life of running!

Break 6 min in the mile

Break 12 min in the 3200M

Break 20 min in the 5k

break 2 hours in the 1/2

Personal:

College Sophomore at SUU.

Majoring in Psychology and Sports Medicine.

Hope to be able to Coach one day, and show kids my love for running and inspire them to reach goals and do hard things they never thought they could do. I want others to feel how I feel about running.

warm up/ core/ fartleks 6x1 min + 8x30sec with equal recovery

Felt good today! Stuck in with all the girls. It was kinda cool at one point on a cool down I was looking around and we were running almost in like a perfect circle shape. We are doing really good at pushing each other.. I think we just need to work on our water breaks. Ha we stopped for water before the cool down. On workouts like this its not a big deal but maybe on easy runs try and eliminate it more.. Just a thought???? I am going to girls camp the rest of the week and I'm kinda bummed about it cause the season starts next week!!!

I'm not sure now far this was??? But up at girls camp before all the wards got there and it was just the stake leaders I got up early in the morning, did a 2 mile warm up, ran hills (6x1min and 8x30sec) on a hill at the camp.

32 min run with Kaylee. We were going pretty quick and it was a lot down hill but on the way back it was all up hill!

AT workout Had to take off a little early for this run cause I had so many things to do today! It was a pretty stressful day and I knew that I'm running a bit slower than I usually do these days so starting early I could still get back in a decent time in order to make it to my meetings...

 and a mile later in the day... my foot/ankle/shin area is still going asleep.

went to the doctor after the run and he said he could be so simple as my shoes aren't fit for my feet.. The only problem with that is I just got them like 2 weeks ago and I have no money for a new pair but their to worn in to return them I think... I don't know what to do anymore!

feet didn't fall asleep because I wore my old pair of racing flats but the lack of training this week and this little sick bug I've got really messed me up.. It was a very dissapointing race.

Oh my gosh It felt loads better.. Finally done with all the sickness and medicine.. Working on getting of the medicine and trying to get back in running! I felt so much better running today.. My legs didn't cramp near as bad as it was last week and I wasn't totally drained of energy.. Run with the varsity girls on the warm up today and then ran with JV for the workout of 800's. It was tough and it sucks not being at the speeds I want to be with the varsity girls but I am DETERMINED to race varsity this year weither it kills me and I'm going to be working my butt off to get there.. Its going to be way hard for sure cause those girls are so amazing and I'm so proud of how far they've come and I want to be apart of that for sure!!! I can do it! :)

  I love running I love running I love running! Thats all I have to say! Morning practice 3 miles! First of the year for me.. way fun talked with sierra the whole way.
  Afternoon AT. I didn't feel very good at first so didn't even plan on doing the workout but ended up doing almost all of it! Every time I told myself I should maybe stop and call it a day I just said that I could go that little bit further.

Morning run was fun fun with Kaylee. Even though after I was done coach called me HAGARD! :)

After school was an 8 miler! It was good! and HOT! I ran with my water bottle though so It made it way better and ran by myself. Just one of those days when the group ahead is to fast and the group behind is to slow.. Thats ok it was good! Got a charly horse at mile 5 and went back to mark when I was done and he beat the crap out of it to make it feel better! ha

Oh goodness.. It was a little tough on the way out today cause it was GreenSprings and my right leg is still cramping.. But Its got better on the way back a little and I ran with Dyllen and Taylor.

Dr. Boyer came and adjusted us too and it felt good!:)

AM: AC with Kaylee, Cassidy, and Jessica. It was a way nice pace and it was nice to have that good of a turn out on a morning run for girls. My leg still has a dang charly horse in it so on the way back the girls picked it up a lot and I fell back a little but it was still a good run.

AHH! I started crying before this race because I was so nervous and scared and frustrated!!! But it was an alright race.. I couldn't get in the zone and my time shows.. My calf killed the whole time! I think the only good part about this race was the last lap I saw a PV girl up ahead by about 100 meters or so and I knew I had to get her. At first I just said settle in and finish but I kicked it and caught her and like 10 other girls! It reasured that I COULD race.. The only thing is I have to do it for the whole race! I really want to work on it!

6x800. Warm up. core. warm up DI 6x800s and then a harts cool down..

I felt pretty good for the first two.. the first one was AWESOME! but I couldn't hold that pace.. It was hard but I finished the workout and that is what is important to me this week! Just getting the workouts finished.
