So I cracked open Marion's plum jam and it made my leftover pancakes taste like candy!  Thanks Marion!

And you guys should see her home decore.  My home looks like an insane asylum beside hers (no wise-cracks Wink ).

I'm glad you liked it! My family won't touch it!  So, if anyone wants to come down and run with me, I've got TONS of home made jam and jelly!  They do eat it on toast, but they eat about 1/4 of a jar and 5 loaves of bread!
Hey about the insane asylum, I thought it was your son who thought WE were the coo koo ones? Smiley

I wish I was down there I love jelly.  I mix Jelly with honey and spread it on bagels to get the extra carbs.  Although, honey is pretty high in calories.  More so than sugar is.

Not all calories are created equal. Honey has a healthy balance of sugars. What is bad about junk foods is not the calories, but the lack of balance.

A runner actually needs to eat a lot of calories of the right kind. 3-5K depending on the weight and mileage.

You are right Sasha- and that is why Jam's and Jellies are eaten in very small amounts.
Kory, I'll have to try it with honey some time.  Thanks for the idea Wink
