Interesting article on the new anti-gravity treadmills that are making their way out that some elite runners are training on. This includes Dathan Ritzenhein

This looks pretty cool. I only wish I was rich enough to buy one or if I could find out how to get access to one. This would really help get over injuries and stay in shape. Also it could let us know what running would feel like if we lost 10lbs or so.

Mountainland Rehabilitation has one in Davis County.

Are there any other places in Utah yet where there are these treadmills?

Not that I'm aware of, but I can see that they will become popular in the future when the cost goes down for the training facilities to handle the price.

Isn't the price like $90,000 right now?

Does anyone know a place where you can use an underwater treadmill?

I know that Utah State University has 2 of them... you could try and contact someone there to use theirs maybe?

I like that Ok Go video (Here It Goes Again) at the bottom of the second link - pretty sweet use of treadmills if you ask me. Maybe on some snowy days when I am forced to run inside on a treadmill, I will just resort to some treadmill dancing to keep things zesty!
