My good mother finally convinced me to buy a Road ID tag for my shoes. I guess if I get eaten by a bear or a cougar then at least the the coroner will have some way to identify me without a dental exam.

The company sent me a $1 off coupon code that can be used by as many as 20 people in the next 30 days. The code is ThanksSean346916.

I've got one of these as well. The only problem is that I rotate about 5 pairs of shoes, and tend not to move the road id. If I were to get a new one, it would be a bracelet or something like that.

I have one of the wrist bracelet ones that is ok and I wear when I do my early morning runs in the dark...just in case I get hit by a car or something.

I didn't get the wrist one because I knew I'd forget it. I usually burn through one pair of trainers at a time. The only exception to that is when I'm doing a trac workout when I wear my racers. I usually have other people around who know me and can identify my dead body.

I always run alone and this would be a good idea for me to have.  There are times where I'll carry my driver's license.

I've been thinking about one for a long time, and finally just ordered it thanks to this coupon.  Thanks, Sean.
