For those of you not running St. George this year...
Park City Cross Country teams are hosting a half marathon this year. The course is on all trail except for the first few hundred yards up the road to spread things out. It will run on the Mid Mountain Trail from The Montage in Deer Valley across the resorts to the First Time Lift at the bottom of Park City Mountain Resort.
On the whole, it is downhill right about 1600 feet. It starts around 8500 feet (highest point just over 8700 after the start) and finishes right around 6900 feet. The downhill is very gentle with the last 4 miles comprising most of the downhill on the Armstrong Trail (for those of you familiar with Park City, this is one of the most popular trails due to it's gentle, smooth descent).
Cost is $50 until September 16th..... Proceeds go to our cross country teams.
