I don't know how many of you have seen advertisements, but there is a movie on marathoning showing 1 day only in movie theatres.

It would be good for the running community to support this as best we can, in my opinion.

Sorry to say that St George is not on the selected theater list - hopefully it'll go to DVD soon.

I saw this advertised in the theatre as a preview.   I want to see it!   The preview showed a woman leading a pack of men and they were all going fast!  Very inspiring for us chicks!

Oh, oh, oh, the woman was Deena Kastor!!!!   I just clicked on the active link and didn't realize she is one of the racers featured.  Now I really want to see it.  I'll have to figure out where it is playing in Provo/Orem.  I post when I find out.  Perhaps we can make it a group affair!

I just bought tickets for the showing at the Century 16 in SLC.  Any other FRBers plan on being there?

I looked at my local theater (Chicago) and noticed that they want to charge me $12.50 for a ticket. Normal price is $10. I find this slightly offensive. I understand that there are some financial reasons for this, but I kinda feel like we are being taken advantage of. Are they charging increased prices elsewhere?

$10 sounds like a rip-off too. They just raised movie prices in Logan from $6.50 to $7.00. I couldn't believe it. I need to write an angry letter to the Herald Journal.

They are asking $10 in IF as well when the regular price here is $7.50.  I don't go the the "big" theatre very often, we wait until it hits the $3 theater about a month later.  Unfortunately, this won't happen with this movie, so we'll see if I make it.

I plan on going in Provo and trying to get my female posse to go so we can have a runner's night out.  They don't tend to watch the discussion forum so I'll need to email them.

I got my tickets yesterday for the show in Ogden.  They were $10.00 and worth every penny.  They said they had 213 left.  We need to get more people out to watch this.  Let me know if I need to go and get tickets for anyone.

I am going with my husband Paul to the Provo showing.  It should be a great motivating tool and might help my husband understand that I actually am not the highest mileage runner and maybe even help him catch the vision so he can prepare for his first marathon.

I also got tickets for the showing in Ogden.  There are a few of us who run together who are going.
