Apparently the advocates of high-fructose corn syrup are trying to soothe the minds/conscious of our obese population that HFCS is just corn sugar - sugar is sugar. Our progression to a Wall-E population is inevitable.

The Wall-E analogy is great... and sad that it is probably accurate. We work hard on our grocery list to avoid that stuff like the plague!
