I tried to look this up on the blog, but it didn't have any "finds".  Perhaps user error on my part.

My issue is that my ears get plugged when I run.  I sweat alot, so assume it has something to do with that.  It's worse when I wear headphones (ear buds), but it does even happen when I don't.

The ears get totally plugged and it's like I have a severe head cold (not actually, but the symptom of the plugged ears).  It normally lasts for a couple of hours, but longer if I go on a long run.  It really sucks to go somewhere afterward, as I can't hear myself talk (it's an echo in my head).  Any ideas?  Suggestions?  Does anyone else have this "issue"?

Thanks for any input you may have!

I've never heard of that before, but I googled the topic and found the following link: http://www.healthboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=167942

I actually suffer from the same thing periodically, usually only after a hard workout.  Since it more annoying than troubling to me and only happens sporadically, I've never gotten it checked out.

Try taking some sinus or allergy medication.  This happens to me on hard tempos, but if I take allegry-D (with sudafed) it does not.

I've had this happen during workouts or races, but it's pretty rare, and does not persist. So I've never given it a second thought.

I have had this happen.  It seems to happen more likely if I have taken Excedrin recently or gu's with caffeine so I thought it might be related but not sure.
