NEEDED: MILE 7 DES NEWS WATER STATION HELP

Des News contacted us this morning asking for volunteers for the water station at mile 7.

Here is the email:

We need a group for Mile 7 water station for the marathon runners. I know it is getting close to Thursday July 24th. Do you think you could get a group of about 15 people together to run a water station. Starting time is 4:45 AM and it would last about 2-3 hours. Everything you would need would be provided. Please let me know if you think this is a possibility.

We would do it but we will be putting on Provo's Pioneer Day Celebration Thursday morning.

I guess I could put in a plug for the Pioneer Day Celebration as well for something to do after the races.

Goes from 10 AM-2PM at Provo North Park (500 W 500 N). Lots of fun, games, displays, and tours of the pioneer museum for kids and adults.
