In April-2010 I was diagnosed with FSGS, a kidney disease that can be deadly if not controlled. The problem is that cause is not known and the treatments that do exist are not very effective and have tons of side effects. Prognosis is not good and things like dialysis and kidney transplant is very real. My current physical condition is very good and my kidneys are fine so far.
Nephcure Foundation (www.nephcure.org) is looking for the cause & cure of this ugly disease.Next Nov 14th, I will be running/jogging a local (Guadalajara-Mexico) 10k race (Sport City's 10k) trying to raise money for this foundation.
