Rome Marathon 2011

Hey Fast Runners,

  Just was curious if anyone out there has run in the Rome Marathon. I am not sure how much people travel around the world to run, but I thought I would ask. I am in the Army and stationed in Italy and have signed up to run the Rome marathon at the end of March. I was hoping to get an idea of what the course is like and any suggestions on strategy or training plans. Thanks.

You've probably already thought of this but you could post this question on the Runner's World forum. There's bound to be someone there who has run Rome.

Thank for the suggestion...I should have thought about that. I've still got about 3 months of training left before the race, but I will make sure and post it!
