Title: New Provo Recreation Center Mtg Tonight Post by: adam on July 17, 2008, 03:29:27 pm Provo City has approved the building of a new Recreation Center. The idea is that it will combine the Rec Center by Provo High School, The Center on 500 N Freedom, and the Eldred Senior Center to create a new completely up-to-date facility that is much, much larger and useful to the community.
At 7 PM tonight (Thursday, July 17, 2008) they will be holding an Open House/ Ice Cream Social to anyone who would like to come and share their ideas of what should be included in the new rec center. Some ideas already in mind include: Indoor Pool Indoor Track Senior/Teen areas Climbing walls Fitness and Cardio Workout areas Multi-Purpose Gyms Exercise Studios Childcare Spaces Come tell us what you want!
