at close to an hour in; Josh Cox and KK are trying to make a move from the second pack (lead by Gilmore, Rohatinsky, and Culpepper) to the top 5, KK looks much stronger than Cox though.

1hr 15min

Hall and Ritz leading, followed by Abdi, Meb, and Browne.
They keep trading quarters it looks like.

KK still between, running alone, about 20-30 secs back

Culpepper back 47 seconds, with Sell, Lemhuelke

1hr 19, Browne takes lead, looks strong...and KK is coming back fast!

They only showed the 10 ten places.  I have no data for all the rest.  The live stream ended.  I am waiting for the e-mail notifications for Logan and Sean to get their times

Hopefully Paul got his place he wanted. I see Sean finished in 2:30:41. Hopefully Logan is doing okay because he hasn't come through the 40K.

I am surprised and a little disappointed they didn't show more of the other runners!  2 guys on the screen for most of the 2nd half.

Great showing by Paul & Sean!  Any word on Logan?   I can't find his results.

Congratulations Ryan Hall!  Looked like a gospel singer those last two miles--pumping the air and pointing at the sky.  With someone else I would've thought that he was signaling "number 1", but I really think he was trying to say "God is Great!"  Amazing how fresh he looked at the end--no form breakdown whatsoever!

Title: Re: Olympic Trials Coverage FRB Splits and Some Others

Has anyone heard from Logan?  It appears he dropped out (I seem to remember he was having some calf issues a couple weeks ago, is that correct?).  I was so excited for Hall, Ritz and Sell, but was devastated when I heard about Ryan Shay.  Does anyone remember seeing the ambulance on the course?  Kind of freaked my wife out a bit when I told her what had happened.

No news as to Logan's state.  I hope he is well and is recovering ok.  I feel really bad that he had an off day.  I could tell something was wrong when his 5K splits started to suffer.  I hope to hear something soon.
When I saw the ambulance during the coverage, I thought that some random bystander was in need rather than an elite runner.  Crazy!

I'm doing alright.  I had to drop out at 24.  I nearly passed out and fainted.  It was a rough day but I learned a lot and am really ready to bounce back from this and train harder.  I will write more on the blog later.

Logan, sorry to hear that you had to drop out so close to the finish...keep you head up and spirits high as we are all proud of your accomplishment.

Paul and Sean, congratulations on fine races.

What a sad day for distance running with the passing of Ryan Shay, a fine young runner.

As Sasha would call it...Bummer.  However, I agree with Jeff that you have accomplished so much and you should be proud.  I am looking forward to reading all about it.

Thanks everyone. Hats off to Paul. Anyone know where you can find the full splits? I ran over 52 freaking mats and would love to see the official splits.

They had the athlete tracker splits available at the following:

http://athletetracker.nyrr.org/index.php (http://athletetracker.nyrr.org/index.php)

You will be able to see every 5K split for your marathon here, but none of the other splits.
