Title: Running in Utah County
Post by: Carolyn Herlin on March 16, 2009, 02:31:20 pm
I'm going to be in Utah County (Orem, specifically) all next week and I'm wondering where there are good places to run in the area. I'm especially wondering about a good place for a long (20 mile) run. I'm doing the long run on Friday because I have to drive back to Denver on Saturday.

Please be specific. For example, if you say the Provo River Trail, I need to know a specific place where I can access it and how long it is.

Thanks.

You can use the course tool to map your own 20 miler.  You can see my runs on the Saturdays before the Provo river trail 1/2 (early Aug), I did a 20 miler or two on the river trail.

Carolyn:

You can meet us at 339 N 1120 W in Provo at 7:00 AM. It is 0.46 miles away from the Provo River Trail. You can join us for the warm-up and possibly the cool-down as well, and we will show you your options for the run. Or, if you have a specific terrain in mind, we can plan right here.

Sasha,

Do you meet at 7:00 am every day or just some days?

With very rare exceptions Monday through Saturday. We will be there this Saturday. Call 801-788-4608 if you need verbal directions, or anything else.
