Title: Rest before raceday Post by: Mike Davis on December 29, 2008, 02:11:55 pm Today is my sixth day in a row and I have a 5k to run on Thursday.
I'm feeling pretty good and hoping for a PR in this race. Should I push it to seven days in a row and rest Wednesday or just rest for two days before the race? Title: Re: Rest before raceday Post by: Paul Petersen on December 29, 2008, 02:40:10 pm Just don't do any hard running in the days leading up to the race. But running is fine.

I ran my normal 6 mile route at an easy pace today and I'm glad I did; It was an eventful run! I'm still feeling good and I know I'll be ready to go on Thursday after one day of rest.
