Hey all,
Josse and I are doing Hobble Creek canyon this weekend as a fun preview of the course for next week's race.  We will meet at 5:30am at the end of the course (Mapleton city center, there's a park right on main street), and then we'll drive until mile 6, run up and then down the course.  We would love people to join.  If you don't want to do the up portion you can even meet us at the top and I could drive you back to your car at the end.  I think I will do 3x3 miles at marathon pace inside the run (one up, two down) but the rest will be easy.  Let us know if you are coming so we can make sure we don't leave without you.

Why so early?  How about 6:30???

I normally start my 20 milers at 5am, but I could start at 6:30 since my husband is out of town.  It is normally hard for moms to get home late on a Saturday.  You must have a very understanding wife if she's fine with you getting home at 10am routinely from long runs. 

It's hard for Dad's too.

How about 6am, I really can't do it any later because I will have to drive Michelle back up and that takes more time. 

Ok.  6am it is.  Does that mean you are coming James, or do you just harass recreationally?

Dave knows me well!  I really wanted 6:00 am so I figured if I said 6:30 you ladies would meet me half way right where I wanted it.  I think 6:00am is perfect, 5:00-5:30 is too dark now days.  Yes I will be there and I would like 20 miles.  Tempo is fine too!

Awesome.  I am so excited to "sleep in" until 5:15!
