Title: Utah Lake Festival and Children's Celebration of the Arts Post by: adam on June 03, 2008, 06:47:45 pm For anyone who might be interested, this Saturday, my work (Provo Parks and Rec) will be holding two large events in the Provo area.
Children's Celebration will be at Pioneer Park (500 W Center St), will have multiple arts/crafts/music projects and showcases for kids and families. Admission is $2 (to help cover the cost of materials), and it begins at 10am and runs throughout the day. Here is the email I was sent on the Utah lake Festival: On Saturday, June 7, in addition to the Children's Celebration of the Arts, be sure to check out the Utah Lake Festival, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Utah Lake State Park, 4400 West Center Street in Provo. Free admission! Free fishing! Free food (hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and apples)! Free activities (kids crafts, face painting, boat tours, sailboat regatta, and more)! This might be something fun to do for anyone in the area after the morning races. |
