Title: Saturday runs (June 21) Post by: Josse on May 26, 2008, 01:01:04 pm Just wanted to extend an invite to anyone you want to meet for saturday runs. I will post what we are doing and anyone is welcome to come.
For anyone in the Spanish Fork area me and Michelle are meeting there with the running group there. There are all sorts of paces that meet so come and have a good run. We are meeting at the Stake Center at 5am or the Bishops store house at 5:30. Michelle will post directions. I won't be doing Nestle 5k but best of luck to you on that one Josse!~
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Josse on May 26, 2008, 01:41:54 pm We can do 6, I thought you wanted 10 and I didn't want to scare people off so I put 8-10 but 6 it is.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Michelle Lowry on May 26, 2008, 03:11:07 pm We can do more if we are feeling good. We'll see.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Sasha Pachev on May 26, 2008, 05:32:38 pm Why don't you just race Curt's Bridal Veil 10 K?
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Josse on May 26, 2008, 06:18:40 pm Don't want to pay for it and I ask for a comp and he did not respond.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Michelle Lowry on May 26, 2008, 09:02:43 pm Never heard of it Sasha. I just am looking for a tempo run in the middle of my long run. No fuss of a race.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Sasha Pachev on May 27, 2008, 10:49:59 am Michelle, Josse - we could probably work out a comp if you are interested.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Josse on May 27, 2008, 11:15:20 am I think we would both love comps for the 10 miler and half but time wise I don't think I can swing the 10k.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (May 31) Post by: Cutika99 on May 28, 2008, 09:24:37 am I sent an email to you Josse. I might be up for meeting Sat. morning for a run in the canyon.

Title: Re: Saturday runs (June 21) Post by: Michelle Lowry on June 17, 2008, 07:51:08 pm The meeting times/places for the Spanish Fork group are always the same each Saturday for the rest of the summer:
5am - 1150 E 1240 S in Spanish Fork (its a Stake Center), 5:30am - then we run to the Bishop's storehouse for late comers at 5:30 (address is 200 E and about 400 S). This is a running group of South Utah County runners who run long runs at paces between 7:30 and 9:30 min/mile. There are many non-bloggers, but Tom and Kim come, as well as Josse, MacK and I. You are always welcome to join, but Josse and I will be posting the Saturdays when we will for sure be there. We'll often be throwing in marathon paced miles in the runs as well. Title: Re: Saturday runs (June 21) Post by: Kim Lee on June 17, 2008, 10:34:30 pm Have they actually changed the time to 5:00 yet? Last week it was still 6:00.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (June 21) Post by: Michelle Lowry on June 18, 2008, 08:08:51 am I called Carolyn yesterday and she said it was moving up to 5am. Lucky us, eh? Perhaps you can give Kaye a call to verify, but this is the latest in the year they've switched the meet time that I have seen. I think I remember it starting the first of May one year.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (June 21) Post by: Cutika99 on June 18, 2008, 09:13:03 am I will be running Wasatch Back this weekend, but count me in for Provo Canyon on the 28th.
Title: Re: Saturday runs (June 21) Post by: Kim Lee on June 18, 2008, 09:13:56 am Thanks Michelle,
I saw Kay this morning and she verified the 5 a.m. start. The reason they waited was because of the weather. Usually the heat makes them change the time earlier in the month. Tom will be at WBR but I will be there this week. I hope there is someone my speed to run with, Kay said she may be camping. Title: Re: Saturday runs (June 21) Post by: Michelle Lowry on June 18, 2008, 09:28:54 am There's always someone to run with, especially the way you've improved your training and racing paces. I sure have enjoyed the later starts and the springy weather. I guess they had to go sometime. See you there.
