Title: High School Studs Post by: Dave Holt on January 28, 2008, 08:09:37 am Luke Puskedra ran a 4:08 mile indoors yesterday at Boston and won the invited HS race. Crazy fast. I would imagine he has his sights set on an outdoor sub 4:00 - a ways to go still, but maybe a little closer than me! He's the best high school runner I have ever witnessed.
Who are some other studs you have seen? (Besides Ruthio!) He was moving and I overhead he signed to go run with Oregon! Not a bad place to go for college.

He'll be with good company there - Rupp (still), Acosta, didn't Matt Centrowitz sign with Oregon? Give props to Colby Lowe as well, just about 1/10th of a second behind Luke. I was kinda surprised some of the other HS phenoms weren't up there as well. Mac Fleet ran 4:08 last year as a sophmore.
