Title: New way to run marathons...X-Country Style Teams Post by: Hyrum on November 22, 2010, 03:14:00 pm The Utah Valley Marathon now allows a new way to race the Marathon & Half Marathon. X-Country Style Teams. Each of the 4 team members will run the entire distance, and this will not interfere with the regular awards/prizes they would otherwise win. This is just an opportunity to run the race as a team, and win prizes beyond the open/age division competitions. Team placement is determined from the average finish time of the 4 runners on the team in comparison to other team average finish times. There will be a limited number of team spots available in both the marathon and half marathon so don't delay putting your team together. Team registration is completed at a separate URL than regular registration. You can register your team at: https://www.raceit.com/register/?event=2756 Your data will still be merged into the overall/age division results.
