Title: Top of Utah Half versus Provo Half
Post by: Michelle Lowry on August 25, 2010, 07:24:04 pm
Hi all,

My last race is the Provo Half, and now I am staring Top of Utah Half in the face.  Per Sasha's race predictor, Top of Utah should be about the same (about 50 sec faster for me).  Does anyone else have insight regarding this course, or regarding the comparison of these two courses?

Thanks!

Michelle

I haven't run Provo, but I can tell you that presence of a canyon wind at TOU can help times by up to about 45 seconds (~10s/mile for the 4 or 5 miles you have it). It can be quite strong this time of year. If the wind is there, it can be quite fast.
