Title: Checking to a half marathon from the hollow
Post by: Matthew Rowley on May 20, 2010, 02:58:59 pm
I have read many posts that people on the blog suggested to have the runner not run the hollow marathon and check to the half marathon.  I am registered for the Utah Valley Marathon and have had an injury.  I think I will have healed by the race but my conditioning will suffer while getting better.  When I contacted the people at Utah Valley Marathon about switching to the half, they told me the half was full so I couldn't switch (Without paying the VIP price, not going to happen).  Is there a way to get special treatment to beable to switch to the half.  When I hear people state it, it sound like its no big deal.  I understand they don't want people to register of the hollow after the half has filled they can get into the half.  This is not the case I signed up back in February.

What I was trying to say is I am not very smart and need all the help I can get.
