Title: pain in the foot Post by: Brice on March 26, 2010, 03:01:46 pm Not sure if this is an injury or a sign of age. When I wake up in the morning or when I get up after sitting for awhile I feel pain on the top of my foot, right in the middle. The pain feels more like a bad bruise and goes away after about 30 seconds of walking. It is also noticeable if I push on my foot in that area. It doesn't hurt any other time. I have been having this problem for a few months now, even when I took a month off of running. Is this something I should be worried about? Has anyone had anything like this before or know of any remedies?
Thanks for any help Title: Re: pain in the foot Post by: April G on March 26, 2010, 03:50:25 pm Try googling extensor tendonitis, and see if it sounds like what you have. I had pain on the top of my foot recently that got worse if I was in shoes and they touched the top of my foot--now that I have started skipping the laces over the sore area it is almost completely healed and I could probably wear shoes normally now.
