Years ago I kept getting an ingrown toenail on my large toe so the doctor removed half the nail and killed the root so on one big toe I have a narrow nail and i've never had an ingrown nail on that foot again. I don't think I could go with getting them all removed though. Then again I'm not running any 100 mile races.
