Title: Barefoot running Post by: Blaine Hawkes on October 09, 2009, 02:24:57 pm I've read a few posts that have mentioned barefoot running as a way of developing your stride, but why else would barefoot running be effective? Is it a matter of strengthening the legs and feet or is there more to it than this?
Title: Re: Barefoot running Post by: Sasha Pachev on October 09, 2009, 02:50:50 pm Shoes restrict the motion of your foot through the stance phase (foot on the ground). Thus you learn habits that are dictated by the shoe rather than your body.
