Title: FRB-ers in pre-TOU newspaper article
Post by: Jon Allen on September 18, 2009, 01:57:55 pm
Looks like we will have a very competitive race, with 3 or 4 Kenyans (one of whom may be a 2:11 marathoner).  Here is the article in the local newspaper:
http://hjnews.townnews.com/articles/2009/09/18/sports/sports04-09-18-09.txt

The article mentions FRB-ers Paul Petersen, Seth Wold, Sasha Pachev, Allie Scott, and Nan Kennard.

Good luck to all tomorrow.

Should be a competitive race.  I wonder why Jimmy Grant is listed as a darkhorse with only a 2:35 when there are several other local/Utahn's in the race with as good or better times?  He did well in Missoula (2:35, second place) but to be labeled a darkhorse?

Top 7 bib numbers = 3 Kenyans, Paul, Seth, Jimmy Grant, and Sasha.  So they just listed those 7.  After all, we all know Ashbaker is the true darkhorse, right Steve?  ;D
