Title: finally, a letrun.com thread worth reading

This is inspiring:

It's amazing how constructive that board can be when it stays civil.

I find the LetsRun.Com crowd rough around the edges at times, but otherwise I have good things to say about them. They understand the sport, they love it, and they are very dedicated to it. In a way a reflection of what the founders of the site are like.

What I like about Weldon Johnson is that he always tells you how it is with no messing around, he gets to the core of things, and because of that more often than not he gets them right. I loved the way he cheered for Hall in his Boston commentary in the last  few miles saying in essence - "Hall has a chance. Merga needs to crash, and he has crashed before!" Few commentators would have had that honest of an insight.

That was a good thread. Lots of good ideas bouncing around in my head after reading it...
