Title: Paul Petersen
Post by: Chad on October 20, 2008, 11:18:09 am
I haven't seen a race report yet, but I thought it was bragworthy to note that Paul Petersen won The Other Half half marathon in Moab yesterday.  Results are here:  http://www.moabhalfmarathon.org/other/results/08OH_Overall_Results.HTM

This is a challenging, rolling course and 1:14 is really moving. Congrats, Paul.

I saw that last night.  Congrats to Paul- looking forward to the race report.  I know he had been hoping to set the course record (on only ~60-70 mpw training), but recent shin splints and other injuries put a damper on that.  But a win is still a win!

Paul, That is great to see your persistence, patience, and just your overall studness pay off after a downturn.

Most impressive considering all of Paul's recent training challenges.

The man isn't human! We're not worthy!

Apparently I was over-generous with my mileage.  Per his training blog, Paul has been averaging 1 mile/day for the past 3 weeks.  And he still runs a 1:14 for a win!  Yup, not human.
