I am considering participating in the Antelope Island 50 miler.  Has anyone ran this or know of someone who has?

You're talking about the Buffalo Run a week from this Saturday? Yes, I know plenty of people that have run it. I would opt for the 25k or 50k, unless you have been training for an ultra. The 25k loop is supposed to be excellent, and the 50k is 2 of those loops. So you could try the 50k, and bow out after 25k if you run into issues. The 50 mile course is completely different- it goes all the way down to the bottom of the island and back.

From what I heard, the registration filled up back in early November.

Yup, filled up Nov 13.  Looks like a no-go for this year.  Plus, I don't think it would help you qualify for Boston, if that is your primary goal.  If you are just in it for fun and Boston is an after-thought, then might as well.

Thank you.  Yes, the Buffalo Run would definately be a long term goal well down the road.
