Title: Ears Plugged Post by: Scott on August 05, 2009, 08:20:25 pm I tried to look this up on the blog, but it didn't have any "finds". Perhaps user error on my part.
My issue is that my ears get plugged when I run. I sweat alot, so assume it has something to do with that. It's worse when I wear headphones (ear buds), but it does even happen when I don't. The ears get totally plugged and it's like I have a severe head cold (not actually, but the symptom of the plugged ears). It normally lasts for a couple of hours, but longer if I go on a long run. It really sucks to go somewhere afterward, as I can't hear myself talk (it's an echo in my head). Any ideas? Suggestions? Does anyone else have this "issue"? Thanks for any input you may have! Title: Re: Ears Plugged Post by: Dale on August 06, 2009, 05:00:46 pm I actually suffer from the same thing periodically, usually only after a hard workout. Since it more annoying than troubling to me and only happens sporadically, I've never gotten it checked out.

Title: Re: Ears Plugged Post by: Paul Petersen on August 11, 2009, 11:29:06 am I've had this happen during workouts or races, but it's pretty rare, and does not persist. So I've never given it a second thought.
Title: Re: Ears Plugged Post by: Kim on September 08, 2009, 02:36:13 pm I have had this happen. It seems to happen more likely if I have taken Excedrin recently or gu's with caffeine so I thought it might be related but not sure.
