Title: Endometrial Carcinoma
Post by: Colby on October 31, 2011, 05:41:51 am
Hi everyone. We just found out today that my mother-in-law has been diagnosed with Endometrial Carcinoma Type II. I was just curious if anybody out there has had any experience with this type of Cancer. It is Cancer of the Uterus and doesn't sound good, but we are optimistic. She is very fit and healthy so it is a big surprise. Again, any personal information or experiences would sure help us out. We are reading a ton online, but it still leaves us with a lot of questions. If this forum is not the right place, feel free to leave a message on my blog and email will work great. Thank you!

Colby, if the cancer has not spread outside the uterus, the survival rate for this cancer is very very high (5-year survival is 90% or higher).

Good luck to your mother-in-law, regardless of a relatively good prognosis, cancer is still a scary illness to have.
