Title: Add/Edit Entry Calculator
Post by: Sasha Pachev on October 16, 2007, 02:16:10 pm
This is old news, but it looks like some of you have missed it. The calculator you on the left side when you are adding or updating an entry knows some cool tricks. It can do stuff like:

50:00/6.5 - average pace for 6.5 miles if you ran it in 50 minutes.
3:00:00/26.22 - average pace to run a 3 hour marathon
6*8:00+4*6:15 - how fast you will run 10 miles if you run the first 6 at 8:00 pace and the last 4 at 6:15
(6*8:00+4*6:15)/10 - your average pace per mile if you do the above
6*8:00+4*6:15-10*5:55 - how far behind the 5:55 guy you will end up if you run the first 6 at 8:00, then 4 at 6:15.

I just noticed the calculator recently. I used to always pop up "calc" on Windows to do these sorts of calculations. Your calculator is much simpler to use and much more convenient because it is right there where I need it. Thanks!
