Wow, thanks so much everyone for supporting us. I must say, I felt the 20-30 minutes of coverage seemed fair to me, but I didn't feel it was in the best interest of the sport for them to cover me the LAST 20 minutes of my race. I was smoking through 20 miles and had the fuel and conditioning to maintain the pace. Got to the backside of Hamburger Legs Hill, er, I mean Heartbreak Hill and out of no where the legs turned into scrambled eggs. And every downhill from there out made it worse. I actually averaged over 9:00 miles my last 2 miles and had to stop during this stretch to work out a knot in my inner thigh. Everyone tells you to go easy through the first 6 miles. I don't know if that would have helped. My conditioning was not the issue and I don't know if slowing down would have made it easier or if it may have even made it harder on the quads by holding back through the first 6. The only thing that is certain is that course is Brutal! We drove it on Saturday and my brother-in-law and I knew right then and there we were in for a tough ride. Great learning experience though.

Thanks again for the support everyone! FRB rules!

I figured out why we had an influx of bloggers. We always do around Boston. My Boston Qualifying Calculator ranks high on Google for "boston qualifying times" and other similar queries. Due to the high interest in Boston on the day of the race that page got 2667 views instead of  350-400 it normally gets on a Monday.
