Awesome!  You should rub it in their face that they totally missed you and you are running at the far superior USU!

He's arguably not the best recruiter, but he is an awesome coach.  I wouldn't take his ignorance of your existence personally.  Ruth, if I had any idea you were considering Utah schools I would have tried to convince you to go to BYU, but I thought you were going the liberal arts route.  So it's likely too late to switch, but if not, I think you'd have a great experience at BYU.

When I got that message, I literally started laughing out load for a long time. My family thought I was nuts!

To answer your question on my blog, Sasha: I didn't even apply to BYU, so I don't think there's any way I could end up going there.

Plus, there were some MAJOR strikes against the Y in my book:

   - their extremely limited engineering program (unlike USU)
   - my older brother (who I am most similar to out of all my siblings) HATED it there
   - I've already officially signed onto USU's team (as of a week or two ago)

So, I must agree with Jon and Cody. Sorry Michelle! Wink

Wait, you are going into engineering, too!  Wow, you will fit in extremely well with the Logan chapter of the FRB.

Jon, quit trying to steal her!  She is ours for life, even if she running away for now.

Holt, we have already lost enough of the Logan FRB-ers.  We need her.  And we will convince her to stay!  Our formerly proud group of ~7 is now down to 3, while the St. George group is rapidly growing and probably numbers in the 30's.

Check out Ruth's Bryce Canyon 1/2 Marathon - and she did this while training for 3000-5000 track stuff!  The only bummer about the race for her was that she had to turn down the $500 she won for 1st to keep her college eligibility.  Don't worry Ruthio; there will be a lot more of that to come in the future, but first conference titles and national championships!  Keep it up!
