The course is accurate and well marked. It even has K marks on the road. The terrain is flat, almost pancake, maybe 10 feet of elevation change at most. The races are highly recommended by the Fast Running Blog. We have a lot of data from those courses, and can give you a pretty good idea of your fitness level and potential from your time and your splits.

New FRB singlets will be available for sale at the race. Cost $8. Cash or check accepted.

It is $50 for the whole series now.  Each individual race is $25 now on race day or pre-registered without being a SLCTC member.  I think it's $5 less if you're a member.

Many thanks to all of the Fast Running folks who came out this past Saturday for the 5K, and congratulations to Mary Ann Schauerhamer and Jeff McClellan for their respective victories in the women's and men's open division.  Special congratulations to Mary Ann for setting a new women's course record of 17:50!
