Discussion Forum Emoticons

Emoticons...isn't that what they are called? i.e. smiley, wink
Anyway, they all show up as only the words themselves in the discussion forum (at least on my computers) and it sure would be nice if they were actually the emoticon. Sometimes I get confused about why someone put in a word and then later realize it was just an emoticon.
Just a suggestion.

I posted a comment earlier today and used "tongue." But when I previewed it I saw how silly it looked to have the word at the end of my comment instead of the emoticon.

Sasha, all the emoticons appear to have a source of
http://beta.fastrunningblog.com/
Ex. Sad -
http://beta.fastrunningblog.com/running-log/forum/Smileys/default/sad.gif
If you get rid of the beta and the running-log portions you can download the GIF image by hand. That's probably why they're just showing up as text for everyone.
