Has anyone or does anyone know anyone who has done Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for for chronic achilles tendon pain?

Paul, never heard of that treatment, but I suffered for a very long while achilles pain. What really worked for me was Ice. After my run, ice for about 20 minutes. Then, when I got back from work (I run in the mornings), more Ice and for longer time. I also stretched tons before and after the runs.

Very slowly, but very slowly, it got better. It took me months, but I never stopped running. I could not do fast running (it hurt a lot when i did do it), but I was building base, so it did not really matter, most of my runs were 'easy'.

Hope you heal quickly .... good luck.

Paul, I just saw this post.  Dean (my better half) has had PRP quite a few times.  It really helped his hamstring problem, and it is still up-in-the-air if it is helping his capsulitis (in his foot). Let me know if you want his contact information, I am sure he would be more than happy to discuss what he thought/thinks with you.
