I was informed today by Kory's wife that he was hit by a vehicle while out running this morning and has multiple serious injuries.  He is in the hospital and he and his family could use all your prayers at this tough time in their lives.

God bless you Kory!

Kory is doing well in the hospital at this time after undergoing surgery yesterday.  I talked to him and he was in good spirits but is in pain and will be facing a long recovery.   His family is doing ok considering all they have been through lately so really still need everyone's prayers.

The first thing Kory asked me was to call the Pocatello marathon RD to make sure someone else could get his spot in the race next weekend...that's Kory, always thinking of others first!

Thanks for letting us know.  I hope he recovers well.  He and his family have gone through more than their fair share lately.

Here is an article about Kory in the Idaho State Voice.  This just shows what a good man Kory is and how focused he is on ensuring God is in his life and his actions.  He is an example for all of us!

Wow.  Thanks for sharing that Jeff.  Read the article and I'm still a little choked up.  I cannot imagine the level of humility and compassion it would require to comfort someone who seconds earlier had nearly snatched the life out of you- all while he was experiencing tremendous physical pain.  What an awesome example of human kindness.  Here's to a full and speedy recovery for Kory.
