Clyde- don't know if you thought about it, but it might be a good idea for you to have a poster (that say's Clyde's Group) or something you could hold high over your head at the start- I tried to meet a few guys at the start last year but never saw them due to the crowds.  Something big to hold up would sure help.

Have a fun time pacing.  I know a lot of people who are excited to be running behind you and Logan.

For those of you interested running in our (Clyde Behunin and Logan Fielding's) 3:00 pace group, listen up!  We will be wearing glow sticks and holding up a huge sign that says "3:00 hours or bust."  Clyde and I are really excited to do this.  I paced Jon Allen at TOU in 2007 with Paul Petersen and it was one of the funnest things I have ever done.  We both know the course like the back of our hand so make sure you just sit behind us and let us do all of the work.  It will be fun meeting many of you up at the start.

Awesome- I just hope someone gets a picture of you guys in your glow sticks!

I hope you do as well pacing next week as you did pacing me.  It was great.

Aw, man, you guys are starting to make me feel bad now.  Perhaps I'll wear glow sticks tomorrow morning and hold up a sign at the beginning of my run "3 miles or bust".  It would be way cool to do this for someone.  I've been blessed with a couple of generous pacers, and it is so great to have that support.  Kudos to Logan and Clyde for this.

Clyde and Logan, I am so jealous that you guys are doing this and I can't join you! That is so awesome that you are and those that are working on breaking 3:00 are very lucky to have you two pacing them. I only wish I was fast enough to hang with you guys! See you all soon....9 days and counting

Steve,

This pace chart will give you an idea of how the hills affect your pace: http://www.xmission.com/~abx3/sgm_pace.php

Hey, count me in and thanks for the pace chart.  That's just what I need.  Well, that and the stamina to finish STG in sub-3.

GREAT!  I'm in.  I lack confidence and will need all the help I can get to go sub 3.  I'll stop by the St. George Running Center booth and check in on Friday and/or I'll look for your sign at the start.
Thanks!

Have fun with the pace group.  Definitely you will negative split the second half.  Clyde and Logan will know how to handle the course.  It's fine to be conservative in the first half because you can make it up with the nice downhills in the second half.   I've ran this course two years in a row and will miss you guys this year.
